Hello everyone and welcome to our AMA with VAIOT. I would like to welcome Pawel Andruszkiewicz, VAIOT’s Chief Operating Officer. on behalf of our entire community.

Could we begin with a brief history of yourself and your team, and your roles at VAIOT and what you were doing before VAIOT ?

Sure ;)
My Team in VAIOT is multidisciplinary and it is composed of various individuals with experience in the areas such as R&D, software development, blockchain and crypto, trading, marketing, strategic management, and so on. Members of the core team know each other very well as we worked together before for different companies and on different projects. Some of us know each other for ten years already! We have people on board from different parts of the world: Austria, Poland, the US, Germany, UK, Russia etc.
Myself, I’m a Project Manager by training and experience. I’ve worked for big companies in Poland and in the UK, managing IT projects and teams in the areas of network infrastructure, app development, compliance, infosec, R&D etc. I also managed an Infosec department for one of the Polish IT companies. Worked for BNP Paribas, Atos, Royal Mail Group, Aviva and few more. One beautiful day when I was tired of leaving my corporate life my former business partner asked me to join a new-forming startup called VAIOT and lead the operations and general project management. That’s how I got here, and that’s is what is my role here at VAIOT.

Can you tell us about why you thought VAIOT needed to be built and what problem it solves?

Oh well, as you can imagine, it is a long story;) Let me give it to you in pieces;)

To be concise, everything started from the idea of having an AI Lawyer as we all struggled with current legal services. Especially if we wanted to have relatively easy tasks done in a short period of time. High costs, lengthy cooperation process with different lawyers, and so on. We thought that AI is giving us so many possibilities, it allows for so much automation, especially for easier activities, and it can analyze so much data from so many sources quickly to prepare bullet-proof outcomes that AI lawyers is something that could actually work and help many people who cannot stand or afford currently offered traditional legal services :)
Then we thought about blockchain, and what possibilities it offers, and how it can be used for legal purposes; that is how the idea on Intelligent Contracts came to life. When we started designing VAIOT, preparing the Whitepaper with business and technological concepts, we said to ourselves that the whole model could be easily adjusted and customized for many business purposes.
This allowed us to create our gradual development plan in which we deliver AI Legal Assistant in 3 phases, with each phase offering a ready to market product that we can use for generating revenue.

We though that we cannot build AI Legal Assistant in one lengthy development process. We decided to deliver (as in Agile soft development) working products one by one where each of the products acts as a predecessor for the next one. That way, we build a product portfolio we can offer to the market and still keep our eyes on the main prize.
This is why we now have the beta version of our AI Assistant acting as a service distribution tool (agent) and we continue working on AI Legal Assistant.
The truth is that each of our business lines solves different problems — but we definitely offer a new, innovative way of accessing various services for consumers that can allow us to reduce costs, automate processes, create a multichannel experience etc. Especially important in the times of pandemic when people need to have a digital access to many services.
and that is the slightly too long explanation on the idea behind VAIOT :)

Thanks for the explanation. I think it’s very important and useful for people to understand how and why the project exists and what it aims to achieve as there are many new blockchain projects out there that don’t really amount to anything.
How would you describe VAIOT if you were talking to someone unfamiliar with digital assets?
APawelVAIOT,
Right. This is actually easier for us than for many crypto projects as our solutions, especially business line 1 and 2, are built as a B2B2C solutions.
There are actual business models and plans, including revenue projections prepared together with our colleagues from Grant Thornton company which means we treat VAIOT solutions as product that will also be implemented by businesses and governments.
and here goes the explanation
Think of VAIOT as an Intelligent Assistant such as Siri or Alexa, but oriented purely at the day to day business and transactional purposes.
When you want to buy a certain product or get customer service (e.g. car insurance policy or just regular products through Voice Commerce channel) or you want to make a C2C transaction (e.g. sell a car backed by contract) you just open the VAIOT mobile app and you tell the AI Assistant what you need and he will guide you through the whole process from gathering expectations to payment.
For companies, it is another innovative service distribution and communication channel with consumers. The digital assets (VAI Tokens) in this mix (apart from many other ecosystem functions understandable for the crypto community) basically are the coupons you get as payback so you can buy more services (or sell on the crypto exchange if you wish) through VAIOT.

What is the VAIOT token used for? Can you describe the Tokenomics?
APawelVAIOT,
Tokenomics are obviously a specialty of Michael, our Lead Blockchain Expert but I’ll highlight what is important from my business perspective ;)

For me, as a more down to earth guy, the most important usage of our token is to incentivize the users to use our products.
As we want our products to be widely used, and we learned our lessons when it comes to product distribution and adoption on the market, we see VAI Tokens as a tool to encourage people to acquire services through VAIOT Assistant thanks to VAIOT Payback Program which is fuelled by VAIs. Whenever you make a purchase through VAIOT solutions or whenever you upload a contract for analysis by AI Legal Assistant you’ll get a Payback in VAI Tokens.
Other than that we use VAI Token as a payment method, for staking rewards, and a part of Bonding System and collateral for the price-stabilizing system called VVAS. More on that in our Whitepaper + we will be organizing meetings with Michael exclusively on Tokenomics in the future.
