The team has accumulated over 50 years of experience in digital marketing, technology, loyalty, payments, banking, consulting and fintech. The DragonBite team is based in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States.
I am Florence, the CFO of DragonBite. I have been very excited about Blockchain technology since 2017. I have been working in Fintech company, Bloomberg, for over 12 years…. built trading platform for Money market, FX and short term debt for the world.

DragonBite is the solution to a massive and global problem: there is more value in loyalty points, rewards and coupons in circulation in the world than US dollars, yet the majority of these digital assets are idle. The lack of a unified platform for users to redeem and spend their loyalty points means that every year hundreds of billions of dollar worth of assets become stale.

Can you describe the DragonBite use cases for Gaming, Loyalty Points and gift cards?

Yes sure thing — let me walk you through a few use cases. Gamers can deposit their virtual in-game assets into our digital wallet. When online gamers have completed a game and moved forward to another, they can now convert their in-game assets into Gift cards, Air miles or any other digital assets such as cryptocurrency. This is something very unique and adding a lot of value.
With DragonBite, travellers will be able to convert their miles to a dining coupon at a nice restaurant for example or if they want they can also convert their mileage into Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. If they apply for our DragonBite MasterCard successfully, they can also spend their airmiles on daily consumption too!
Currently, the redemption rate of loyalty programs is just 7% and most people can’t redeem their points. DragonBite is a newly developed digital wallet for customers to aggregate all their loyalty points, E- vouchers, E-coupons, Air mileages, Gaming points and other digital assets. It provides a secure and convenient platform for customers to transfer and swap digital assets on DragonBite. Customers will be able to spend their idle points to our pre-pay DragonBite cards for their daily consumption in real life.

Can you give us a comparison on how DragonBite’s loyalty program differs from others?

Yes of course — the big difference is that we are creating a full global ecosystem linking a very high number of loyalty points. The problem we are trying to solve is that it’s currently extremely hard to redeem points or to go against their pre-determined expiration dates. We are giving freedom to our users to use their hard earned assets the way they want to…Wouldn’t you prefer to swap your expiring airmiles or hotel points for ETH or BTC instead of a tea kettle? 😄

DragonBite has three main advantage against its competitors
1. Partner with many merchants. DragonBite has a comprehensive partner ecosystem. We have already gained access to over 5,000 merchants with 50,000 points of sale.
2. Large customer base. DragonBite can penetrate into the customer base of its merchant partners. They have serviced over one million customers in China.
3. Truly open loop decentralised system. Users will interact with each other and govern the ecosystem by themselves. Whereas, Points.com, Asiamile and Hotel are closed loop loyalty programs, focusing in airlines and hotels industries only. Centralised loyalty programs are controlled by the operators. Users do not have control and the interests between users and loyalty program providers do not align.
Bakkt is one of our competitors. It acquired bridge2solution to cater for Loyalty and Crypto. The new loyalty and crypto app has not yet launched. It is supported by only a few banks and less than 50 merchants.
DragonBite is the only decentralized loyalty program that is governed by its members and caters to crypto and loyalty points. With one Million members and 5,000 branded merchants with 50,000 outlets since 2018.

What is the DragonBite token used for? Can you describe the Tokenomics?

Our secret recipe is our dual token system. This is perhaps the reason why other loyalty projects failed before us.
$BITE, is our incentive token, which has a limited supply. It will be publicly traded on Crypto Exchanges. Merchants and partners who utilize our platform to provide loyalty programs and promotional activities will be charged in the form of $BITE. $BITE is also required as transaction to bid for valuable assets within our auction platform, to access our privilege services, to exchange $BITEPoint, to purchase coupons or gift cards, and to pre-pay DragonBite card.
On the other hand, users or partners who participate in trading activities and make contributions in our ecosystem will be rewarded with $BITE. $BITE holders will earn more $BITE from staking as well. We provide sufficient incentives to our active users to do asset conversion, member referral and business referral. The more $BITE you hold, the more $BITE you will get and the greater voting power you will have in the DragonBite ecosystem.
b) $BITEPoint is DragonBite’s universal stablecoin, pegged 1:1 with the US Dollar back by all the digital asset in the ecosystem
BITE Point acts as a medium of exchange between Digital Assets and provides liquidity to buyers and sellers of their digital assets in the DragonBite’s ecosystem.

BITE holder will earn more BITE from Staking. The usage of BITE :
1) Transaction fee. When people convert asset to another digital asset, transaction fee will be charged with $BITE
2) Governance. We aim to become a DAO eventually. The more $BITE you have, the more voting right you have
3) Staking reward. We provide staking option for our users in the ecosystem for passive $BITE reward
BITE, which has limited supply, will be created during the token generation event, and it will also be publicly traded on Crypto Exchange. Being disruptive is definitely a good way to describe our venture 🙂
Loyalty programs are literally everywhere. Today, more than 95% of the population owns loyalty points.
This triggered us to investigate further and realized there is more value in digital assets (loyalty points, gift cards and gaming assets) than US dollars in circulation in the world.
The existing mechanism is set to discourage you from using them. Therefore, the utilization rate of these assets is only 7%.
You may already realize that there is an intrinsic problem with these digital assets:
1. they are difficult to be exchanged and the gifts are usually not attractive
2. they are hard to be consolidated and
3. they will expire.
DragonBite allows Idle loyalty points from different programs to be stored in 1 single application, to be transferred and to be redeemed to whatever form of digital assets you wish.
You may turn your loyalty points to Bitcoin with upside instead of a lame gift.
We lower the barrier of entry for small size crypto investors as well, which is one of our big focus.
For all HODLERS, I believe the success of DragonBite ecosystem and the value of $BITE aligns. It depends on 3 KPIs:
1) Number of merchants / partners
2) Size of digital asset pool
3) Number of users
The more merchants / partners will provide larger liquidity and hence an increased size of digital assets in our pool. The more assets supported for conversion, the more users will be acquired. These 3 KPIs would create a virtuous circle and as a result more transactions will happen in the DragonBite ecosystem. More $Bite would then be needed for transaction fees and as the demand increases, value rise. I am very confident in DragonBite and I believe we will grow with the community and get mutual benefits (investors definitely would get benefit from holding $BITE for the long term. This is a real project with an experienced team solving a large problem in a gigantic market).

What are you currently working on and can you describe your future roadmap?

Since 2018, DragonBite has collaborated with leading companies in the field of blockchain, loyalty points and gaming. By the end of 2021, The most popular loyalty programmes, game assets and other digital assets will be acquired into the DragonBite ecosystem, which will benefit the token holders in long term.
DragonBite platform will be launched very soon.
Regarding to partnerships, we are going partner with more crypto exchanges and loyalty programmes. Today, we are partnering with Banks & major financial services, cryptocurrency exchanges and different blockchain ecosystems. We are the reseller of Steam, Google Play and Apple Giftcard and have gained access to merchants point of sales. We will focus more on partnering with the online merchants, e.g. Netflix,….etc.
Alongside with the legitimate and long term solution for mutual benefits with the community. We will focus on marketing in order to let more people know about us and join our community. Gaming industry is one of the sector our marketing efforts will focus in as there are synergies between gaming and the crypto world.
We are also partnering with different Ambassadors and crypto KOL from different communities, YouTube channels and social medias all over the world. Since everyone know the problem and feel the pain of loyalty points, we are confident and our supporters believe in us. We all know the problem and we are ready to solve it and help everyone to unlock their values.
At the beginning, we will focus on getting Chinese customers on board, in order to gain a large user base in a very short period of time. Then we will go Asia. We would love to partner with the local merchants in non-English speaking countries to penetrate into their community. Later on, we will go Europe and US to get more users on board! Nonetheless, Our team based in U.S., U.K., Singapore and Hong Kong, and we will target the international market.

Tell us a little about your private sale — How did that go and did you achieve what you set out to achieve?

DragonBite has received a vote of confidence reflected by the overwhelming response in its private round investments. With the influx of interest in the cryptocurrency space in general and the platforms that will serve as its infrastructural layers, DragonBite received a massive amount of potential investor interest, eventually closing with $2.7 million in total private sale fundraising within 48 hours. The development of the DragonBite application and subsequent introductions have already begun, but following the completion of this funding, DragonBite can now expand into the next phase of its objectives.
DragonBite received an extreme amount of interest from innumerable investors. The demand was way above expected; therefore, only a portion of the requests was satisfied, especially from teams that can also serve as strategic partners in the foundation of their platform.

I will focus on RioDefi as this is the key partner here.
RioDefi is DragonBite’s Strategic partner. RioChain enables lower transaction fees and faster confirmations. It is very very important for DragonBite as our goal is to disrupt a $1.6T industry, provide liquidity to loyalty points, gift cards, gaming assets and crypto. We allow these assets to be converted to other virtual assets and asset classes and are expecting high and frequent transactions as the demand is expected to be very big due to the intrinsic problem of the industry. Therefore, low transaction fees with fast confirmation are the key here and we found ourselves to have great synergies with RioDeFi and the RioDeFi team has given great insights to us during the early stages of our venture. We believe that a strong product and a clever solution to a massive problem will attract community members and supporters as they feel the same pain and will support the solution which benefits themselves.
We will focus a lot on marketing in order to let more people know about us and join our community. The gaming industry is one of the sectors our marketing efforts will focus on as there are synergies between gaming and the crypto world.
We target users globally although we have already acquired 50,000 merchants points of sale in Asia. Our team is based in the US, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. Our reach will be in these areas and grow simultaneously.
We are partnering with different ambassador / crypto KOL from different communities / YouTube channels and media all over the world which will for sure attract a large user base.
Our team is extremely confident. Growth is the only word in our dictionary. The confidence is backed by the real life problem we are tackling. 95% of the population owns loyalty points and the intrinsic problem with the digital assets are obvious with 1.6T value yet to be unlocked. Our project is legitimate, we aim to grow along with our community and seek for mutual, long term benefits.

We leverage Polkadot technology stack and implement new contract to extend our logic such as staking reward algorithm which give us better speed and interoperability than most current implementation.
Our Prototype has gone through multiple rounds of review by leading industry players to confirm our business model and technology viability.
We implement our technologies based on the banking practices to boost our security level. Our tokens are protected by mix of hot, warm and cold technologies in order to maximize our security protection.
DragonBite does not handle the assets of our clients. All of their assets will be safely kept in custodian, Hex Trust, all the time.
The infrastructure of DragonBite Wallet adopts the state-of-the-art security features which protect all transactions inside the platform through several methodologies, that are biometric fingerprint, facial recognition, pattern-recognition and passcode access. Therefore, users, who cannot remember their passwords, can still log into their accounts by using their fingerprints or head portraits on mobile devices. Anyway, biometric detection technology should give a higher security protection than passcode access.
When our user chooses the privacy mode, all their transactions will go through an alternate address instead of their own master address. We also have other operation management and technology checkpoint / design targeted to improve the privacy and security protection of our platform.
We are compliant with compliance regulatory rules such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & the Personal Data Privacy Ordinance (PDPO), the Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) standard and the Know-Your-Client (KYC) standard.

Monday, May 17th — Wednesday 26th: DragonBite will open its first whitelisting on a growing decentralised swapping protocol. There will be 6 programs available for people to participate and get a chance to receive allocations from a pool evaluated at $160,000. Interested parties will be shortlisted randomly and the winners will be announced on May 26th.
Wednesday, May 19th — Monday 31st: DragonBite will start two separate campaigns on the 2nd and 3rd launchpads which are among the biggest on the market! There will be a total allocation of $200,000 to be shared among all the winners of those platforms. This would be the last chance for our community to access $BITE at prelaunch prices. While the announcement will be made on May 19th so people have enough time to be added to the whitelist. These two events will take place on May 31st, just a few hours before the Uniswap listing.
