Before Crypto, I am an CFA charter holder and in charge of security lending business in Singapore DBS. As for my best buddy Guy, our co-founder, was a portfolio manager in Acadian handling over 100M

I would say Quantlytica itself looks easy but it is quite complicated backend. I will share more details later.
In short, Quantlytica is an AI-powered multi-chain liquidity distribution protocol, positioning itself as “Your Liquidity Gateway” in the DeFi space. Backed by industry leaders such as Polygon Labs, Web3Port Foundation, DWF Ventures, Cryptosociet and more, Quantlytica is dedicated to breaking down the barriers that have made decentralized finance (DeFi) an exclusive domain.

Quantlytica is built on Polygon. Why did you make that choice?

Actually it is now on Arbitrum but indeed we will make it multi-chain on Polygon, Base and BNB.
The main reason is about Gas fee, first thing first we want to do is dedicated to breaking down the barriers that have made decentralized finance (DeFi) an exclusive domain, so we would love to kick start our POC and foundation at somewhere else cheap for our users. That is why these chains are our priority because we believe in massive adoption — web2 users won’t like expensive transaction fee

So for us, liquidity automation means beyond passively follow investment strategies, it is more about comprehensive liquidity management solutions that cater to diverse user needs. The platform goes beyond traditional yield farming and trading by providing tools for liquidity automation, cross-chain bridge optimization, and secure portfolio management
Having said that, you define and select what you want to do to your funds (liquidity), we provided automated, 24/7 runtime for you.
In short, it is our smart contract and system handles the complicated operations/ monitoring for you.

Amazing. Are there or will there be features to reduce the impact of impermanent loss and allow for strategy-based rebalancing?

Yes, you are right.
We will help users to perform routine rebalancing if you would like to invest in our index strategy, or we will monitor the pool size and liquidity direction in the MM pool to perform real time adjustment to prevent impermanent loss.
But need to admit, impermanent loss is something tricky in DeFi which personally I think it the nature of AMM. However, we are also introducing some structured product to “hedge” the impermanent loss. This product will be introduced once we have enough back testing.

With the upcoming Fund SDK, Quantlytica will empower users to build, test, and deploy strategies using a modular, no-code toolbox, supported by QuantGPT, the platform’s AI-driven personal assistant.
There are a few things in our Fund SDK
- Modulized Smart Contract
- Bascktesting framework
- Risk engine
You can imagine it is like a Lego, which allows you to:
- first input your intent to our QuantGPT, which is our AI bot to understand your intent.
- Second, select the DeFi protocols and liquidity management type (invest, trading, cross chain, yield farming …etc.)
- Third, based on those, the system will come up with a router that meets your needs.
- Forth, you could use back testing framework to visualize the past and future.
- Fifth, you start our risk engine to monitor this router in real time.

What is season 1 and what comes after it ends?

Our season 1 was a testnet feedback round that is our first earn event that invites our early community to test our products and help us train our AI model from May 22nd to July.
After that we leveraged that feedback and come up with our latest product which is now deployed on Arbitrum Mainnet. Which is our Season 2.
In Season 1, though it was just internal testnet event, there were still more than 1000 daily active users testing our products.

What inspired the creation of $QTLX, what is its use case and how does it incentivise and reward the community?

You know what? We had a debate on whether to have a token in our ecosystem because many friends said we are like a tool so equity would be enough.
But me and Guy believe token is a great tool that could incentivize builders and contributors. So, in our design, as long as you contribute to our platform, no matter liquidity, strategies, bug bounty, you will get token rewards.
As for use case, that me share with you in details.
Governance & Staking — QTLX and veQTLX (non-transferable, staked QTLX) grant holders voting rights and governance participation, as well as future QTLX release.
Revenue Sharing — veQTLX holders are entitled to up to 50% of Quantlytica’s revenue as fee distribution.
Premium Access — QTLX/veQTLX holders enjoy exclusive access to premium features like bespoke strategy design and advanced functions.
Discounted Fees — QTLX can be used to purchase platform credits and API requests at discounted rates compared to USDT.
Incentives — DeFi projects/ collaborations must offer QTLX as rewards to incentivize participation and increase TVL/usage.
Buyback & Burn — Up to 20% of monthly revenue is allocated for QTLX buyback and burn, reducing supply and potentially increasing value.
Future Utility: QTLX will provide discounted insurance coverage for yield loss, enable access to proprietary data analytics services and yield boost services.
Our token utility is created to incentivize builders and real supporters, but at the same time maintain longevity.
