Hi this is Liko, CEO of Project SEED. Trang, CMO of Project SEED. I was SEA PR Head for Binance since the exchange started stepping on the market in 2018. Moh is COO. We three met in Binance where we worked in the same Marketing team. We shared mutual interest in A-RPG games and realized painful problems of the traditional gaming industry that blockchain gaming can solve. It makes Project SEED as nowadays.
Our CSO, Baskoro and Alex our CTO both also worked for notable companies in the traditional space Marvel, Transformers, Scooby Doo, Lexus, TripAdvisor, and Boeing

Awesome — Thanks. How and where did you first encounter gaming and subsequently crypto?

Gaming wise, we all love gaming, and we see several problems in the gaming space:
1. Laggy
2. Not great quality
3. Boring
4. Expensive to start even though we can #PlayToEarn
This is due to the Ethereum gas fees and Web3 based gaming system that makes all the games becomes bad
For Crypto Space, I personally entered crypto in December 2017, and don’t ask me how it went… REKT
Lost all my savings there, but because of this, I learned, and studied Crypto and the tech, and here I am now

Can you tell us why you thought Project Seed as a game needed to be created and integrated into Crypto?
Trang Trang
1. Microtransaction: Cheaper game items and gears increase customer base for game developers. However traditional games do not allow players to buy a small item because their revenue source directly comes from players’ pocket.
So players usually have to look for hacked gears and items online. Blockchain gives players no reason to do that. On Solana we can provide micro-transaction with a very low fee.
2. Security: A game is accessible in all corners of the world. Converting to local currency is not cost effective. Both developers and players have to absorb that conversion cost. Cryptocurrency offers a decentralized method for that.
Hackers and scammers can no longer steal Credit Card information. Hackers also can no longer use stolen Credit Cards to purchase in game items. This greatly reduces the number of fraudulent activities developers have to deal with.

We give all players monetization power by in-game asset’s ownership and right to vote for game development

Solana is one of Crypto Society’s favourite projects/blockchains. Can you tell us why you decided to build on Solana?

Solana provides us with low latency, fast, and affordable fees for us to implement Transaction Fee Reimbursement (later in the development)
No other blockchain comes to mind, why?
1. Ethereum, we will go bankrupt within months (if not weeks)
2. Tron (too many scam and gambling project)
3. Polkadot (not live yet, and we cannot afford to wait for them)
4. Cardano, no NFT platform and functionality, and even if there is, who knows when it will launch
So, #Solana is the best bet

If you take a look at our Token utilities, you’ll see 3 major use cases
1. In game currency
> this means, everything involving this game will use $SHILL token, from staking, marketplace, advertisement, and other settlements
2. Staking
> users can stake to receive APR, eligible for Governance proposal, AND CREATING A DUNGEON (juicy rewards and can make our users tons of $$$)
3. Governance
> users who stake $SHILL can propose and actively participated in our world development

Tell us more about the NFT’s, and how game players can create them and what can be done with them?

People can mint NFTs by evolving or synthesizing beasts (called Zeds) or collect items in-game. Then they can trade or lend these NFTs on the marketplace to get SHILL. In the future we will allow players to design their own Zeds or armors, equipment and mint them on our platform.

Can you explain why ProjectSeed is a Defi project?

Because we want to bring financial equability and transparency to all players. Players have had a long troubled relationship with the public. Gamers are considered lazy people sitting alone in front of computers or mobile phones all day long without income. However, Defi in games make players investors having passive income and potential of 10x their assets in the future.

As far as decentralisation goes, you have certainly hit the spot in the creation of a DAO which is governed by your community. Congratulations on that. Can you please describe your governance process and how the community can actually affect change?

We want our players who stake our tokens to propose good game updates and next progression. Normal users can vote on that.
Proposal Flow:
1. Users stake x amount of token (to avoid spams and leave out non-players)
2. Users who staked are eligible for proposing world updates and product development
3. Project vet the idea and proposal whether it is good for the game and ecosystem or not, if yes, it will be approved and opened for voting
4. Players vote
Incentives:
Users who successfully receive a big amount of vote (over 50%) will have their product suggestions made by the team, and REWARDED
Players who voted and have their votes won, will be REWARDED

2 ways: passive and active earning
Active earning: people sell their NFT assets that they collect in game by completing quests, defeating Zeds, evolving Zeds
Passive earning: after having SHILL they can stake SHILL to get various benefits APR, eligible for Governance proposal,
AND CREATING A DUNGEON for other players play, users can get juicy rewards and make tons of $$$

Users who stake our tokens will be able to create dungeons and becoming a dungeon master
by being a dungeon master, players will be entitled for an incentive if other players play in his/her dungeon, so the larger your dungeon, the better incentives you’ll get
this incentive will eventually allow you to create NFT, and this translate into $$$
2. RENTAL MARKETPLACE
NFT is very illiquid asset, and you cannot earn if you’re not selling it
Here, we make Rental Marketplace, just like AirBnb for NFT
This will allow you to retain ownership of the NFT (especially if it’s rare), and still earning from it

However, we cannot really force non-gamers to become gamers. But of course, we are doing our best in the best possible strategies to market our product
