Hello, I am Dan Kennedy, the Chief Marketing Officer of Netvrk. My background is in marketing and real estate, as well as in the music and entertainment industry.

Our team is comprised of Michael Katseli, our CEO. His background is in engineering and game and tech development. Our COO Linus Chee has a background in graphics and game design, and is a gifted artist. Our Lead Advisor is Jonathan Wernick, who is a Chartered Accountant that also has a legal background.

I got into crypto in 2016. I’ve been very excited by the crypto space since then. With Netvrk, we’re really bringing a new paradigm to the crypto space.

Can you tell us about why you thought NETVRK needed to be built and what problem it solves?

The current iterations of metaverses are very limited. Decentraland and The Sandbox have done a great job of introducing the concept of metaverse to everyone, but they’ve fallen short of providing the features people want to see. In building Netvrk, we sought out to build the framework for a very interactive and high fidelity virtual world. We’re focused not only on gaming, but also on business/ecommerce, and education.

How did NETVRK start?

Netvrk started with founders Mike Katseli and Linus Chee about 5 years ago. Most of the development has taken place in the last year or so, and we’re excited to continue progressing.

What chain is NETVRK built on and why was that choice made?

We are on Ethereum blockchain due to its popularity and current adoption. As a metaverse, we will be supporting multiple blockchains, including POLYGON, BSC, Cardano, Solana, Elrond, and others.

How do You see NETVRK contribution for the adoption of Blockchain Technology? (you’re only allowed 10000 words to answer this one lol)

LOL. Yes, so the goal is to have blockchain tech in Netvrk’s metaverse, but for it to be so seamless that you don’t know it’s working in the background. Blockchain will be used for asset ownership, including Virtual Land, as well as our native NFT marketplace buying and selling.

Our Virtual Land sale is actually going on right now. So far, we’ve been very happy with the response, and many lands have sold out!

What is a Metaverse? Can you please explain this to us in simple and then a little bit in technical terms?

A metaverse is a virtual world which connects people, projects, companies, and ideas.

I see — and do users need a VR rig to interact within the metaverse or can it be done on a regular PC?

Awesome — thanks. Tell us more about your NFT’s and land scales and why they are collectors’ items. Explain this concept of buying lands? What am I buying?

Virtual Land is not really a new concept. Decentraland, The Sandbox and others have done it, with great success. I believe The Sandbox land is up about 800 x from inception.

Virtual Land is a finite resource and in Netvrk they are limited to only 15,000 total.

As in real life, land and real estate is a scarce commodity, and as they say, they aren’t making more of it 😆

Aside from land, what other types of NFT’s are available?

Virtual Land in Netvrk is the mechanism in which landowners can have governance, as well as share in revenue generated from the Netvrk Marketplace.

How does one go about purchasing these NFT’s? I understand there are different launchpads involved… Will there be new sales of new NFT’s that will be added, or will everything be sold all at once?

Right now, the NFTs are under heavy demand, and they’ve sold out on some platforms.

ChainBoost, Poolz, and TrustPad are the current launchpads in progress, culminating around August 30th.

There will be 5+ more launchpads to be announced very soon.

Yes, Play to Earn is a big part of Netvrk. We are a META Play To Earn platform, since we allow people to create their own games, experiences, and assets utilizing our sandbox editor, and then monetize their creations.

I see that users have an option to buy ad space. That sounds really cool. How does that work and who is the target audience for these ads? Where are they seen and how?

Ads in Netvrk will be just like ads on the internet … except they will be implemented in a unique manner. The metaverse will have billboards and more unorthodox methods of advertising.

Staking right now is through our website, which is kind of boring if you ask me 😆

We will be implementing INTERACTIVE staking in Netvrk, that rewards you as you interact with it! This will also be done with Farming, and Mining. Users will control avatars that do actual Farming and Mining! 🔥

Yes, governance is tied to Virtual Land ownership, much like in feudal times.
